AGI-13 @ Beijing: Paper Submission Deadline Extended Till March 23

It is our pleasure to inform you that, in response to a number of entreaties from busy researchers,  we have extended the paper submission deadline for the Artificial General Intelligence 2013 conference one last and final time, until March 23!

This will be the FINAL deadline extension, in accordance with the deadlines required by Springer Lecture Notes in AI, who will be publishing the proceedings.

Please recall that AGI-13 will be held in Beijing, at Peking University, July 31 – August 3, 2013.   This is the first AGI conference to be held in Asia, and promises to be a fascinating international meeting of the minds.

The Call for Papers is here:

Continuing the mission of the past AGI conferences, AGI-13 will bring together an international group of leading academic and industry researchers involved in scientific and engineering work aimed directly toward the goal of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).

The conference will occur immediately before the Twenty-third International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI-13). AGI-13 will feature talks and posters, keynote speeches, demonstrations, and a Special Session on “Cognitive Robotics and AGI”.  Beside the main conference, there will be tutorials and workshops.

We expect this to be the most intriguing AGI conference yet, and hope you will be able to join us!

Ben Goertzel — General Chair, AGI Conference Series
Pei Wang — Chair, AGI-13
